Mufasa: The Lion King has Rafiki pass on the legend of Mufasa to a young lion named Kiara, daughter of Simba and Nala, while Timon and Pumbaa lend their signatures. Told in flashbacks, the story sees Mufasa as an orphaned cub, lost and alone, until he meets a compassionate lion named Taka – heir to the royal family. The chance encounter sets off a long journey for the unlikely band of outcasts in search of their destiny – and their bonds will be tested as they work together to evade a dangerous and deadly enemy.
